Explore Seoul with a local — free, in exchange for a short YouTube video

Hi, I'm Dugeun, the Korean behind tripflutter. I'd like to show you the Seoul I actually live in — the markets, back streets and places I eat — for a half or full day, for free.
Two honest things first:
- I don't speak English, Chinese or Japanese. We'll talk through a translation app on our phones. It's slower than a normal tour, but it works, and it's often the funniest part of the day.
- I'm not a licensed tour guide or a travel agency. This is a free day out with a local friend, not a commercial tour. The one condition is that I film a short video of the day for a new YouTube channel about traveling Korea with a local and a translation app.
How it works

- Send a requestFill in the form below with your dates, group size and what you'd like to see or eat. Tell me how you'd like me to reach you — email, WhatsApp, LINE, Instagram or KakaoTalk.
- I reply within 2–3 daysI'll suggest a plan and a meeting point in a public place (usually a subway exit). If the dates don't work, I'll say so honestly.
- The dayWe meet, walk, eat and talk through the app. I film parts of the day. Before filming, I'll confirm on camera that you're happy to be filmed.
- The videoI send you the link before it goes public. If there's any scene you don't want, I'll cut or blur it — before or after publishing.
The filming condition
- You choose on the form whether your face can appear, or whether I should film you without your face (hands, back, food, places).
- Videos go on tripflutter's YouTube channel, social media and this website.
- Every person in your group (or a guardian for children) needs to agree.
- You can ask me to remove or blur a scene at any time, even after it's published.
Free for the first 10 groups. You pay only for your own transport, food and any tickets, as you would on any day out.
Where and when
- Seoul first — any neighborhood: markets, old streets, cafés, local restaurants.
- Other regions by arrangement — Busan, Gyeongju, Jeju and anywhere else in Korea, if the dates work.
- Weekdays or weekends — both are fine.
Before you ask
Is it really free?
Yes, for the first 10 groups. The only condition is a short YouTube video of the day. You pay your own transport, meals and tickets.
How do we talk if you don't speak my language?
Through a translation app on our phones (Papago or Google Translate). It's slower, but it works — and it's part of what the video is about.
Do I have to show my face in the video?
No. You choose on the form. I can film without your face — hands, back, food and places.
Can you guide us outside Seoul?
Seoul is easiest, but Busan, Gyeongju, Jeju and other regions are possible if we agree on the dates.
Are you a licensed tour guide?
No. I'm not a licensed guide or a travel agency, and this isn't a commercial tour — it's a free day with a local, filmed for YouTube.
